Happy Holidays, everyone! It’s Christmas day so we figured we’d put out a festive-ass episode for you. We watched two classics, and a lesser known TV movie which often flies under the radar.
We’ll start with the two classics: Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, and A Charlie Brown Christmas. If you want to watch two fairly short movies where the main character gets shit on by everyone else, these are the movies for you. Of course everything always works out in the end for both Rudolph and Charlie. They’re classics for a reason, but maybe could use some updating.
The last thing we watched was A Muppet Family Christmas! This was a made-for-TV movie in 1987 that weirdly didn’t get much play after that. The really fun part is that all the versions of it we were able to dig up on Youtube or elsewhere have really wack commercials attached to them. It’s a good time albeit we weren’t expecting to be asked by a voice over if we thought babies should be kept alive if their organs could be harvested for other babies…
For more context on that last part, settle in with us for a cozy Christmas episode of So…I’m Watching This Show! Happy Holidays!
