Happy 4th of July everyone! And happy birthday, America! You think that BBQs and tank parades would stop us from releasing an episode today? Wrong! We’re here and we think the perfect movie for this July 4th (5th really) is Drop Dead Gorgeous! Why, you ask?
Well first off, it’s being added to Hulu today. So really we A. wanted to make sure everyone knows that so they can go watch it. And B. we wanted to make sure you all knew that it was ours first and we’ve loved it for two decades so we’re cooler than you. #Hipster. It wasn’t love at first site, but after a couple viewings we were totally smitten and quoting the movie left and right.
The other reason we felt it should be our release for today is that it fits the theme. There’s a beauty pageant and there’s some HARD patriotism. Just watch the movie, you’ll know what we mean.
So anyway, we love Drop Dead Gorgeous and now you will too! Just hope on Hulu and give it a watch, maybe even before you listen so you don’t get some 20 year old spoilers. Either way, we have a good time and we want you to join us on today’s episode of So…I’m Watching This Show!
