We’ve been watching Ru Paul’s Drag Race a lot recently. But obviously the scene has been around long before Ru brought it to the zeitgeist. So today we looked back at Paris is Burning. This is a 1990 documentary about the drag-ball scene in New York in the 80s. Honestly it should be required viewing for everyone. It shows not only how far society has come, but more importantly how far we have to go.
Have you seen Paris is Burning? If not, we highly recommend it. It’s not really the kind of thing you can spoil, but at some point, go watch it. If you have seen it, let us know what you think over on Twitter or in the Youtube comments! For now though, settle in for a fabulous episode of So…I’m Watching This Show!
